Activity 1 : Outdoor Games/ Hey Fox! What time is it? (The Rules) 3-C

The rules:


1. Gather the group together and choose one person to be " it (fox)." The fox turns back to the players.
2. The other players stand far away from the fox
3. The other players ask the fox : ‘ HeyFox! What time is it?’
4. The fox makes the players come towards him/her by giving instructions such as:
- Come to me with big steps.
- Come to me with small steps.
5. The one who comes very near to the fox will touch the fox and runs away. If the fox catches him/her, this person becomes the fox. If he can't, he goes on being a fox again.
6. The fox can send the players who come very near to it by saying ‘kazandibi’ (a special Turkish dessert).

Activity 1: Outdoor Games / Violet (The Rules) 3-B

The rules of the game:

1. Divide the students into two groups.
2. The students stand in a line and they hold their hands.
3. They say:
    Violet
    Put your handkerchief on the floor.
    Who is your volunteer?
    We choose Elif (the students choose a name from the other group).
4. The one whose name is uttered runs  towards the other group and s/he tries to seperate their hands.
5. If s/he can seperate their hands, he takes one of the children to his/her group. If s/he can't, he stays   in that group.
6. The game goes on like this. The group that has the least players loose the game.

Activity:1 Outdoor Games/ Grabbing Handkerchief (The Rules)

The rules of the game:
The students presented the rules of the game to their friends.
1. The game is played with two tems and they line up. They leave 20-25 metres between them.
2. They darw a line between them and they choose a refree.
3. The refree stand on the line line holds a handkerchief in his hand.
4. The refree calls the names of the students and the students starts to race.
5. The one who comes first and gets the handkerchief wins the game.
6. The game goes on like this.

The students searched about the games played in the past and they made a presentation about the rules of the game in the classroom.

Rules

  1. Children choose the "it" .
  2. The "it"tells a child's name from the group of players,throws the ball in the air and the game starts.
  3. While the ball is in the air the person whose name is called catches the ball before it hits the ground.
  4. The running players stop when the word "Stop" is said.
  5. The player who is hit 6 times gets a penalty and is eliminated.

Our children did the research about the game and  shared the information they got  effectively and joyfully with their friends in their classroom.

The Rules of the Game

  • We play "puss in the corner" at least with 5 children.
  •  Somebody is chosen. The others take places in the corners.
  •  When the  chosen child is at the center, the others try to exchange their corners among themselves.
  •  The chosen child tries to go to a corner for himself to take place in.
  • You should move quicly in order find a corner for you or you will have no corner.



Activity 1: Outdoor games / Hopscotch (The Rules) 2-A

Hopscotch Rules

1. The player throws his stone in box number 1.

2. The player passes all the boxes hopping. He doesn't step into the box with the stone.

3. When the player reaches the last box , he turns back and comes to the box number 2. While standing in the box number 2 on his one foot , he picks up the stone in the box number 1 and hops over box number 1 and finishes the turn.

4. Then the player throws his stone in box number 2 and does the same things for the next turn too.

5 If the stone touches any of a line on the hopscotch ground or the player steps on a line or the player steps on the ground with both feet he loses his turn and the turn goes on to the next player. When the player takes his turn again , he continues where he has left.

 Activity 1: The Per-Shopkeeper / 1-C (Rules )

Our children did the research about the game and  shared the information they got  effectively and joyfully with their friends in their classroom.
 The Rules of the Game:
  •   Two children  clasp and make an arch bridge. Other children line up and go in front of the arch .
 
             All the children  say :
 
            "Open the door per-shopkeeper ,per-shopkeeper."
 
  •   The children who make the  arch bridge; "what are you going to give to let us come in ?  The thing behind me is a present for you"
  •     The children in the line clasp and raise their hands in order to let the others pass.
         
  • The children in line walk through the arch bridge (under children's hands).

  •  They catch somebody they want to catch and ask him\ her  about  behind whom he\ she wants to get in the line.

  •   The child get in line. The game goes on until all the children who clasp get in line.
                  It is a funny game try it:)

Activity:1 Outdoor Games  / Hey Rabbit Run Away! 1-B (Rules)


Our children did the research about the game and  shared the information they  got  effectively and joyfully with their friends in their classroom.

The Rules of the Game:
  • Children make a circle. A rabbit and a greyhound are choosen. While the rabbit waits in the circle and  the greyhound waits out of the circle, the children start to sing a song :
        There was a rabbit sleeping in that ditch. Hey rabbit! Look at me, you shouldn't do this.               Hey  rabbit     run away!  , Hey  rabbit run away!
  • Then the rabbit goes out off the circle and the greyhound tries to catch it. During this period other children cheer out " Hey rabbit run away!Hey greyhound catch it now!

  • if the  rabbit can be able to go in the circle again the winner is rabbit then but, if the greyhound can be  able to catch the rabbit the winner is greyhound. :)
